At a time where the identity of the native is constantly under attack, MOTHERGREEN&H.K.M has decided to take a stand. Rather than go with the flow and mistake imitation for genius, we choose truth. Mothergreen is a collective of graffiti writers, designers, dancers and idealists who come together for one common cause “To Build”. MOTHERGREEN & Her Killing Machine is a term, which originates from the Stanley Kubrick film “Full Metal Jacket”. While in the film Mothergreen is referred to as the military, we see Mothergreen as being the team you look to when things need to get done. Formed in 2007, the brainchild of Saviour V. Sanquiche, whom upon his return from California saw that individuality and a sense of style was lost or non-existent in New York. MG employs a combined experience of over 20 years gained through developing brands such as Gawsie, Alphanumeric, Fiberops, PRPS, Members Only, Akademiks & Rocawear, with their first start in 1989 with Elements of Style (E.O.S.). Drawing inspiration from the early to rise, late to rest grind in the city of NY, we aim to connect with the like minded who want to make a statement.

The purpose of Mothergreen & H.K.M is to add to the tradition of respect and admiration for original New York design culture. While making the complex appear simple, our product gives a voice to those often found mute. We are a collective who while born from a rich history, are firmly planted in the now, making an impact for the future.
